Graduated and specialized with top marks at the University of L'Aquila.
During my training I attended prestigious hospitals in Italy and abroad including: Rio de Janeiro, Helsinki, Barcelona, Paris and Brussels where I refined my knowledge and techniques in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

I moved to England where I successfully completed 3 fellowships in Microsurgery in the three most prestigious hospitals in London (St. Thomas, Charing Cross and Royal Marsden).

During this period I learned the most advanced techniques for breast reconstruction and other anatomical areas.
I worked at the Harley Street Clinic Group - a referral centre for cosmetic surgery in London.

For the last three years I have worked as a Consultant Microsurgery at Queen Victoria Hospital where I have focused on complex breast and limb reconstructions.

Today I work as a medical director at the National Cancer Institute IFO – Regina Elena in Rome.
As a primary surgeon, I have performed over 5,000 reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery procedures.
